This is the home page of ACTA, the African Conservation & Training Association.  ACTA is an innovative, organized and committed environmental education, training and consulting agency based in Cape Town, South Africa with a focus on sub-Saharan African environment, natural resources and people.

 

ACTA supports and provides on-the-ground education, extension and advice for African communities, conservators and institutions.  ACTA has a broad membership and structure, forming partnerships throughout the region for active conservation awareness and management.

 

ACTA has a substantial network of effective on-the-ground conservators throughout sub-Saharan Africa who work with and for ACTA on selected projects.  ACTA has an ‘ear to the ground’ approach to fulfilling conservation and development needs.   In all, ACTA stands for better environment and life for the people of Africa.
